About the Role
Every author wishes they could spend some real time with their characters. To ask them questions about their world, their friends and family, and their feelings. This short, 8 episode audio drama explores what that would really look like. 'Interview With My Author' follows a writer meeting with 7 of their characters, each with a different personality and role. Along the way, Author learns that this world that they created, and more importantly the people inside it, are not at all what they were expecting.
The Henchman character serves two purposes. The first, of course, is comedic relief. This episode is supposed to be a bit of a break for the Author. The second is to remind the Author, and the listener, that these characters emotions are real to them. The performance direction in the submission lines are vague on purpose. I'd like to see your unique take on the character.
